We are beginning where we ended!
Thanks to my blogging buddies, I am linking up to share you all about wrapping up the school year. In the community where my school is, the children are released for summer before Memorial Day. We often celebrate with each team member taking up a certain activity and all the kiddos rotate through the rooms all day. I have had years where the children's families come in and help cook out hamburgers and hot dogs. Other years we have ice cream celebrations. That is how we ended this year. I sent out little invitations and the kids all brought in items from the list. And of course you already know about the end of the year award certificates. The children loved their awards. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/End-of-Year-Awards-Certificates-EDITABLE-686613 But-- did you see how I let the parents know about the celebration? Here is a copy of the invitation I sent home for the Awards Celebration. You can grab you EDITABLE invitation in my Teachers Pay Teachers Store. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/End-of-Year-Awards-Certificates-EDITABLE-686613 So with the closing of the year, so is the closing of this post! I hope you all had a great wrap up to the end of your school year! I TRULY appreciate all the people who purchased the awards certificates from my store. After school let out, I finished up an additional graduation diploma pack. You can check it out here or by clicking on the pictures below.
Well that wraps up our end of school post. Please stop by Mel's website and link up to more end of the year ideas!
http://www.talesfromoutsidetheclassroom.com/2013/06/wednesday-website.html Next up is a quick stop at my friend Tessa's blog, A Tale from Outside the Classroom. Her Wednesday Summer linky party will be a place for us to share great websites for us to use. My choice is ABCYa.com This FREE site is an excellant resource for all elementary and pre-school aged children. Try it! The games are separated by subjects. Here are a few screen shots of the first grade sections.
Now go start your summer and relax! Remember, if you like what you read, leave me some comment love. If you like what you see, follow me!
