Back to School, A Giveaway, and THE Mrs. Shipley of The WBT World

Have you heard, there is a giveaway goin' on at my Firstie Friends collaborative blog? And if that is not enough, I have THE WHOLE BRAIN TEACHING ROCK STAR herself Mrs. Shipley as a guest today!! My Texas Sister is here today to share the love.  Read on y'all....

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to get your students to write?   Get them movin' and groovin' with this fabulous resource!

Hey guys!  Mrs. Shipley here from Mrs. Shipley's Classroom!  My sweet blogging bestie invited me over to guest blog today and share with you this fabulous writing resource we collaborated on!  This resource is jam-packed with oral writing tips, a timeline for implementation, and interactive note booking activities to get your kiddos writing 5 paragraph essays...even in KINDERGARTEN!

The premise behind oral writing is that if they can say then they can write it.  This unit shows how to use amazing techniques to have you students speaking complete sentences, writing micro-essays and eventually full 5 paragraph essays.  My kinder-5th graders love these methods.  Also included are links to download free resources that you can use to ramp up the engagement and energy in your classroom.  So what are you waiting for?

But it gets so much better!  We are pairing up with the Firstie Friends to do a Back to School Giveaway where you can win 1 of 5 $25 gift cards to TPT!  This rafflecopter will run today through Saturday, August 1st and the winner will be announced this weekend!  Now aren't you glad you stopped by!
